Mt. Hood - Elk Mountain via Elk Meadows

Portland, Oregon folks!  Join Travis for a super fun day hike in Mt. Hood National Forest that includes an amazing viewpoint on Elk Mountain, an awesome ridgeline traverse on Bluegrass Ridge, and then a steep decent into Elk Meadows.

  • 8.2 miles round-trip
  • 1445 feet Elevation gain:
  • Lollipop Loop
  • Intermediate+ hike (The plus part is because of the distance, scrambing over logs, and steep decent)

You will need:
WARM CLOTHES!
