About the instructor:
Kris Hunt is an avid cyclist, riding through Vermont's four seasons on a variety of bikes, adventuring as a part of VTBADV (Vermont Bicycle Shop Adventure Club), and building/maintaining MTB trails with Millstone Trails Association. He's been riding mountain bikes as an adult for going on 9 years and has progressed and developed by spending many hours on Vermont's most challenging terrain, especially at Millstone Trails. As a queer trans man he is passionate about queer inclusion in the outdoors and is working to bring more LGBTQIA specific outdoor fun to Vermont and beyond. Join him and The Venture Out Project this summer for a MTB skills clinic. He'll be leading a group of LGBTQIA folx through the foundations of bike handling skills and trail riding. After practicing foundational skills you will put the newly learned, refreshed, or built upon skills and techniques to test on a group ride though a pre-routed beginner trail loop.
