Maine Summit to Sea Experience Multi-Environment Week

Maine.  Rugged, raw, rural, real.  We'll bring you to the highest point in Maine, Mt. Katahdin, and then back down again to the famous rocky coastline of the Atlantic Ocean.  This trip will combine elements of camping, big day hiking & kayaking.  This is a a transmasculine lead trip and for experienced hikers who also identify as transmasculine.

Queer Women's Vermont Classic Backpacking

Join us for our Queer Women’s Backpacking trip in Southern Vermont. This long weekend backpacking trip is led by queer women for queer women. We use an inclusive definition of “woman” and “female” and we welcome and encourage trans, genderqueer, and non-binary folks to register for this trip.  If it sounds like the right adventure for you - it is!

Total beginners to seasoned backpackers will feel welcome and comfortable on this New England adventure. You’ll learn the foundational skills of packing, map reading, camp set-up, backcountry cooking, and get to  sleep under the stars!

Location: The Long Trail, Green Mountains, Vermont

No prior experience needed

  • Average: 6 miles/day

  • Lunch: 30-40 minutes

  • Breaks: Typically one 5-10 minute break per hour. More often if necessary.

  • Hiking Time: 5-6 hours per day

  • Terrain: Gentle, no more than 500'-1000' elevation gain per day.

  • Camp: Arrive around 3pm.
