After Work Walk - Tennessee

Come leave behind the crazy work day and join us for an after work walk on the west end of Knoxville! It’s an opportunity to get outside and away for a while before the holiday chaos.
This event is for ages 18+ and intended for the LGBTQIA+ community. If you require a service dog to attend, please let us know and we’ll collaborate with you on how to keep you both comfortable and hydrated at the event.
GENERAL INFO
Location: Knoxville area, TN (ᏣᎳᎫᏪᏘᏱ Tsalaguwetiyi (Cherokee, East), S’atsoyaha (Yuchi), and Miccosukee lands)
Parking: Lots of spots at the YMCA, however it does get full with people enjoying the park. There is more parking at the church across the street and at the other end of the park at the west hills pickleball courts.
Pets: Pets are welcome at this event! Pets must remain on-leash and be friendly to other dogs/pets that may show up at the event.
Hike: 1.2 miles, minimal elevation gain

Cost: This event is completely free to access! We welcome donations of any amount, which help us continue to provide these programs. We appreciate your support and your contribution!
Bring: Walking shoes and access to a water bottle, water is not needed for this hike but it’s recommended to have one in a car or nearby!
COVID SAFETY
Masks are not required during this event, however they are welcomed if wearing one allows you to better engage with the group. PLEASE be mindful of your own and group safety. If you or anyone in your household are not feeling well, do not participate in a hike.
