Late Fall Queer Walk In The Woods - Eastern Massachusetts

Late Fall Queer Walk In The Woods - Eastern Massachusetts

December 7, 2025 — 10:30 am - 12:30 pm ET Rain date: December 14, 2025
Last day to register: December 5, 2025

Join TVOP Boston to be in queer community and stay warm together outdoors!

We will practice being outside in colder weather together and appreciating the beauty of the changing seasons. Come hear the crunch of leaves under your feet, marvel at big rocks, appreciate evergreens, see a view of Boston and the harbor, and hug trees as they begin to hibernate (optional but encouraged).

We will take a walk in the woods north of Boston and stop to appreciate different spots along the way. This hike includes rolling hills and flat areas with gentle to moderate inclines. There will be a few short, rocky steeper uphills. We will take these hills very slowly with many breaks! We hike to spend time together and do not rush people.

Participants should be aware that loose leaves and acorns in the fall may cause the footing to be more slippery than normal. There are no bathrooms at this trailhead.

We ask folks under the age of 18 to please register themselves and an adult to accompany them.

This event is intended for the LGBTQ+ community. If you require a service dog to attend, please let us know and we’ll collaborate with you on how to keep you both comfortable and hydrated at this event.

We recognize the historical complexity of indigenous movement across the land, and honor with gratitude the many, many surviving native nations whose land we benefit from in our work to diversify the outdoors.
