First Connecticut TVOP Event! Join volunteers Andy and Mack for an evening of recreational rowing in Mystic, CT! We will be rowing in 6 person boats on a calm river for approximately an hour at a speed of 2 mi/hour (breaks from rowing during the event are welcome and encouraged). Whether you are an experienced rower, or are looking to get out on the water for the first time, this group row is for you! There will also be an optional post-row hangout at a local outdoor eatery.
We ask folks under the age of 18 to please register themselves and an adult to accompany them.
If you require a service dog to attend, please let us know and we’ll collaborate with you on how to keep you both comfortable and hydrated at this event.
GENERAL INFO
Location: Mystic, CT (Pequot and Mohegan lands)
Parking: Free Parking at Museum Lot Across Street (Optional post-row hangout: free parking in lot behind restaurant).
Pets: While we love pets, we ask that furry friends who are not service animals stay at home for this adventure. Tell them we said hi!

Cost: This event is completely free to access! We welcome donations of any amount, which help us continue to provide these programs. We appreciate your support and your contribution!
Bring: Water, wear comfortable clothing (shorts/jeans + tshirt/tank), sneakers, sweater/second layer, and something soft to sit on if desired (the seats in the boat are wooden!).
COVID SAFETY
Masks are not required during this event, however they are welcomed if wearing one allows you to better engage with the group. PLEASE be mindful of your own and group safety. If you or anyone in your household are not feeling well, do not participate in a hike.
