Join TVOP Bend for July Queer Climb Night at Boardworks, a welcoming monthly climbing meetup centered around community, connection, and climbing for all experience levels. Boardworks is a board-focused climbing gym, offering a unique and engaging climbing experience for beginners and experienced climbers alike. Come learn new techniques, challenge yourself, or simply hang out and climb in a low-pressure environment.

This event is free for Boardworks members and first-time visitors. Returning guests can purchase a reduced $10 day pass, with climbing shoe rentals and chalk included. Participants will also be required to complete any waivers required by the climbing gym prior to participating.

This event is intended for the queer community and is open to ages 18+. We ask folks under the age of 18 to please register themselves and an adult to accompany them. If you require a service dog to attend, please let us know and we’ll collaborate with you on how to keep you both comfortable and hydrated at this event.

  • Information for our land acknowledgment was gathered from nativeland.ca, which provides an estimate of original indigenous land occupation, but does not take into account migratory patterns or movement of the many surrounding communities. We recognize the historical complexity of indigenous movement across the land, and honor with gratitude the many, many surviving native nations whose land we benefit from in our work to diversify the outdoors.
