Queer Fall Foliage Hike - White Mountains, New Hampshire
October 4, 2025 — 10:00 am - 2:00 pm ET
Last day to register: October 2, 2025
Join The Venture Out Project and All Outdoors Collective for a fall foliage hike in the White Mountains!
We'll hike along a trail with stunning mountain and water views, at a social pace with stops for photo opportunities. The hike is about 3 miles with 1,000 feet of elevation gain. Elevation is gained fairly steeply during the first mile. Trail surfaces are a mix of dirt, rocks, and boardwalks.
This hike is open to hikers of any experience level, and we won’t leave anyone behind. Please note that we will be traversing occasionally uneven terrain on a steep trail and encourage you to assess your personal comfort level with this adventure. Feel free to reach out to us if you have questions about this hike.
This event is intended for the LGBTQIA+ community, and is open to all ages. We ask folks under the age of 18 to please register themselves and an adult to accompany them. This event is free to attend, with optional donations welcomed. If you require a service dog to attend, please let us know and we’ll collaborate with you on how to keep you both comfortable and hydrated on the hike.

Information for our land acknowledgment was gathered from nativeland.ca, which provides an estimate of original indigenous land occupation, but does not take into account migratory patterns or movement of the many surrounding communities. We recognize the historical complexity of indigenous movement across the land, and honor with gratitude the many, many surviving native nations whose land we benefit from in our work to diversify the outdoors.
